Spoonfed was set up by Pascale, whose international upbringing -10 schools across 3 continents- shaped her global perspective before completing her MA at Université Côte d'Azur.
Trained as a literary translator, she translated several British and American novels into French for Parisian publishers.
She transitioned to marketing roles with French luxury multinationals in Paris and in Singapore for 18 years. Then she taught IB French on campus in a Singapore international IB school before joining the e.working revolution, coaching driven Asia-based students to ace their French exams.

Q: Who are your students?
A: I teach motivated Singapore-based IB and IGCSE students who want A*s, 7s, and real confidence—not just “getting by.” Whether you’re aiming for your first solid 6 or pushing for a 7, effort beats level every time.
Q: What makes Pascale different?
A: Native French, translator brain, Latinist logic, IB & IGCSE classroom experience, same expat upbringing as my students, and a soft spot for students with inquisitive minds.
Q: What is your best advice to your students?
A: I do not believe in getting to the top in French without learning your irregular verbs. So just do it! It is going to be slightly painful, but so rewarding!
Q: Why is French grammar so hard?
A: Actually, French grammar is simple when clearly explained. Logical rules organise the structure of the language, and when you apply them, it works!
Q: Do you teach slang or “real” French?
A: Slang is real French. Language is organic; it evolves constantly. IB and IGCSE love idioms, because you are required to speak like a GEN Z, but we stick to the most effective ones. A good idiom well used is a sure score booster.
Q: How quickly will I improve?
A: Most students see a grade jump within 6–10 weeks with regular sessions and homework. Consistency and 30 minutes of personal work between sessions is the secret ingredient.
Q: Do parents get updates?
A: Of course, parents get monthly tracking of what we cover so that everyone can follow the progression.
Q: Do you offer a trial lesson?
A: Better than that, I offer a 15-minute live French assessment. So you know exactly where you stand and which strategy to adopt.
